Rendering proof / 2.1
A moving picture.
Inside a terminal.
This is not a browser mock-up and not a GIF made to resemble a terminal. It is a recording of the bundled Cinema demo running in Kitty, with every frame sent by terminaltui's video pipeline.
Real Kitty capture · 24 frames
01What you see
One block, two rendering paths.
Kitty + Ghostty
Real pixels. Each prepacked frame is transmitted through the Kitty graphics protocol and anchored to ordinary terminal cells, so it scrolls and clips with the rest of the page.
Everywhere else
Coloured Unicode cells. Apple Terminal, tmux and unknown SSH clients keep the same dimensions and controls; only the image tier changes, so the layout never jumps.
02Run it
The proof ships in the package.
Cinema includes the same 848×352, 60-frame TVF pack shown above. No runtime video decoder is installed: playback reads small JPEG frames from the pack and feeds the existing image renderer.
